Arles Image Web Page Creator 8.2 released
Arles 8.2 introduces a New Images label, File Age support and a new full screen mode for the image explorer. On top of that it brings improved image loading speed, better animations and multi-touch zooming.
"New Images" label
The New images label makes it easy to identify new images. You can switch it on (and off) in the View Menu > New Images. In that menu you can also specify the image age for when you want the New label to show up.

Image Age
Also new is the Image age feature. It shows how long ago an image has been taken. Arles calculates the age on basis of the EXIF Datetime field. Or the File modified time if not EXIF info is available.

The Image Age can be used for sorting.

Image Explorer full screen mode
The Image Explorer has a new full screen mode. All toolbars will hide after 2 seconds. They reappear if you move your mouse to the top of the screen. This feature has been implemented due to the popularity of netbook computers. These small computers often have a limited screen size. The new full screen mode makes sure that all the pixels on the screen are used to show images and not buttons or toolbars.

Zooming improvements
Many new laptops and netbooks have a multi-touch touchpad. Arles now supports the zooming features on these touchpads. In the image viewer you can zoom in and out by moving your fingers apart or together.
A small update, but one I personally like a lot are improved keyboard shortcuts. The zoom shortcuts in the image viewer are now:
1: Zoom 100%
2: Zoom out
3: Zoom in
4: Zoom Fit
Because these are adjacent key, you can always let your left hand rest on the keys while your zooming in and out, without needing to move around or look at the keyboard. A full list of keyboard shortcuts is available in the help file.
