Arles 7.1 released
Arles 7.1 version has just been released. There are new table border options, an improved thumbnail and image effects windows and improvements to the popup and security features.
Improved Thumbnail and Image Effects windows
The image effect window which was introduced in Arles 7.0 has been improved with Live Tags and browse buttons.
The image effect windows now have a Live Tags and Browse buttons
The Previous and Next browse buttons allow you to scroll through all images in your gallery. This allows you to preview the effects you selected for all images in your gallery.
The Live Tags button makes it possible to see the actual content of a tag without having to generate the gallery. As you probably know Arles allows tags to insert a wide range of meta information on your images. If you want to insert the file title on all your images you would select the <FileName> tag. To add the EXIF DateTime field as an image text you would add <ImageExif Tag="DateTime"> to the title. By selecting the Live Tags option, the actual content of the tag, instead of the tag itself, will be shown in the example preview image.
New index page border effects
New Border style and Border line style options make it possible to create non-standard borders around the index table. Below are two examples of new borders. The first one is a single pixel border with the Border style set to "Inside". The second example shows a dotted border with the Border style set to "Around cells".

Other improvements
The right-click protection feature now only prevents right-clicking on the image and no longer on the complete webpage, making it much more user friendly for the visitors of your pages.
Also, when using popup image pages, the auto-size feature now automatically resizes each popup to the correct format. For a full list of changes please visit our forum.
